Background
zfs.rent has offered $10/slot-month pricing since 2021.
In 2025, the datacenter increased our electricity rates by 50%.
Additionally, we upgraded to a 208 V, 20 A circuit. — which was not cheap... — also, we did a complete network revamp (redundant 1 Gbps transit link and multiple 10 Gbps IXPs connects).
Realistically, $10/slot-month does not generate enough income to cover the increased colocation, network, hardware expenses — especially if we intend to grow.
